Jeet Kune Do (JKD) is the martial arts concept developed by the late Bruce Lee. As a theory of personal, physical expression through martial arts training, JKD was never intended to be a "style," but rather a set of principles designed to maximize effectiveness and free the individual practitioner from the limitations of any one style. Ultimately, JKD is just a name for that which is antithetical to a bounded or restrictive system. The only real "goal" is to continue evolving through a process of self-discovery and self-actualization.
